InfoMatoa, Nabire | PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku has ensured that the availability and distribution of energy in Central Papua Province will remain secure ahead of the Christmas celebrations and the 2025/2026 New Year holidays.
Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku, Ispiani Abbas, said the company has prepared a series of anticipatory measures to guarantee the public’s energy needs, including fuel oil (BBM), LPG, kerosene, and aviation fuel (Avtur).
According to her, Pertamina has ensured that energy stocks at Fuel Terminals and distribution outlets are sufficient, while also maintaining distribution operations in line with established plans. Continuous coordination with relevant stakeholders is being carried out to ensure services remain safe and reliable throughout the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
“All facilities and service infrastructure are fully operational. The Pertamina Patra Niaga Task Force has also been activated to ensure optimal energy distribution,” Ispiani said on Tuesday (23/12/2025).
In Central Papua, energy supplies are distributed through the Nabire Fuel Terminal and the Timika Jobber. Average stock resilience for all energy products is recorded at more than six days, indicating that supply conditions are currently secure.
Ispiani added that energy stock levels will continue to be monitored regularly in line with distribution to outlets and the arrival schedule of supply vessels. Intensive monitoring is also focused on areas with challenging geographical conditions and limited transportation access.
Beyond stock readiness, Pertamina Patra Niaga is strengthening synergy with local governments, security forces, and other stakeholders to anticipate potential distribution challenges on the ground.
“With the support of all stakeholders, we hope that communities in Central Papua can access energy easily and at affordable prices, including those in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped areas,” she explained.
To welcome Christmas and the New Year, Pertamina Patra Niaga is also offering various promotions through the MyPertamina application throughout December as a token of appreciation to customers. Ispiani also conveyed her Christmas greetings to communities celebrating the holiday.
Pertamina Patra Niaga has urged the public to purchase fuel, LPG, and kerosene according to their needs and to use energy wisely. Information on products and services can be accessed through the Pertamina Contact Center at 135.
